Make of this what you will

Small dribble drabble I suppose. Not much to it. -_^

What started small...

It started out as a small squabble. You know, the usual bullshit
banter. But things got intense and some things were said. He stormed
out of the bedroom shoving things off the coffee table in anger. He
slept on the couch while I cried all night. My tears soaked his pillow
while I snuggled on his side of the bed. He didn't have to be a jerk,
It's not like this is the first time we fought about the little things.
He just likes to blow it out of proportion. I know I can be unbearable
at times but...

...who am I kidding? This is much my fault as it is his. If only I hadn't lost my temper.

The next morning I opened the door to the bedroom and he was standing
there. His head bowed hiding his expression. He shifted his feet in
nervousness.

"I'm sorry about last night. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I was
being a dick and...I'm sorry." He said rubbing the back of his neck
wearily. He looked haggard, as if he hadn't slept enough or at all.

He looked up to me for the first time today and his eyes widened. I
guess the tears had left evidence on my face. He reached out to caress
my cheek wiping away a few tears. I was crying?

"Oh Duo...I didn't mean to do this to you." Heero said taking me into
his arms, embracing me against his body. I didn't want to break down, I
didn't want to cry. What I wanted to do was say I'm sorry to him. Tell
him it wasn't his fault but mine. I wanted so much...

...instead I raised my face to his and pressed my lips to him. What
started out as a small make up kiss...got intense and some things were
done.

Some things indeed.
